Two Wolves Inside Us All

Photo from Houston Zoo Website
A friend of mine shared the following legend:

"An old Cherokee told his grandson, "My son, there is a battle between two wolves inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies and ego.

The other is Good. It is peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy, and truth."

The boy thought about it, and asked, "Grandfather, which wolf wins?"

The old man quietly replied, "The one you feed."

The author for this piece is unknown.

The sentiment rings true...in our lives, we make a choice every day of which wolf to feed.

Which wolf do you feed?
